Language Use is where P7 learners are tested on how accurately they use English in sentences.

In this paper, learners will practise:

• suitable words and prepositions
• word formation
• short forms
• alphabetical order
• opposites
• jumbled sentences
• plurals
• vocabulary in context
• words with different meanings
• sentence transformation

After completing the paper, learners will:

• see which language-use skills are costing them marks
• identify weak question types
• understand what the examiner is testing
• practise fresh examples in those weak areas
• use UNEB-informed guidance to improve before attempting another paper

The aim is not only to get a score. It is to find the lost marks, understand why they were lost, and practise the exact skills needed to improve.
