A map that should have stayed hidden…

Grandma Lily’s attic was hotter than the rest of the house and smelled of dust, wood and forgotten things. Boxes leaned against one another like sleepy giants. An old rocking horse watched them from a dark corner with one painted eye.
Sam pointed at it. “That is definitely haunted.”
“It is definitely missing an eye,” Mia replied.
They had only come upstairs to look through Grandma Lily’s old boxes. They were not expecting to find a mysterious map—and they certainly were not expecting it to wake at midnight.
With their proud and unusually knowledgeable cat Whiskers beside them, Sam and Mia are drawn into a trail of clues, family secrets and unexpected danger.
But some maps do more than show you where to go.
Some maps are waiting for someone brave enough to follow them.
